Hand-holding 10x42 EL? (1 Viewer)

How easy/difficult is it to use 10x42 EL offhand? I just got to the point where I can use the 8x power comfortably without a support, but not sure about 10x.

I have no problem with the 10x42 SLC except in strong wind and don't recall an issue when I last looked through the EL's (though I have never owned these).

I must admit that I haven't ever compared 10x and 8x in great detail, but I haven't ever noticed that much difference between them.
