Hi. After years of dreaming about it I have finally decided to take the plunge and visit Uganda next year , probably in feb/ march.
As I can't afford to go on an organised tour from the Uk I wll be arranging my trip independently. The sites I plan to visit are
Murchison falls national park, with a visit to Budongo forest for birding/chimp tracking as well.
mabamba swamp for shoebills and onto Lake Mburo national park.
Possibly a trip to QENP as well.
I would be delighted to hear from any Bird forum members who may be in Uganda at that time and may be interested in sharing costs of a driver/guide to any or all of the locations mentioned. Thanks, Mark.
I can also be reached by email at [email protected].
