Is there any interesting places to go birding in Bielefeld or arround Bielefeld?
I'll be there between 14/08 and 24/08.

Hello,

I do not know this area.
Near Bielefeld is an protected area of a forest "Naturschutzgebiet Teutoburger Wald".
About 80 km north is lake Duemmer See which has 4 birdwatching towers.
About 100 km in northeast is lake Steinhuder Meer, which should have 250 different kind of breeding birds.
