Birds migration in La Mancha (1 Viewer)

Hi. Birds migration has started in La Mancha. A visit to the Tablas de Daimiel N.P. has reported some northern species such as Willow Warbler, Wood Warbler, Spotted and Pied Flycatcher, whilst Reed, Great Reed and Savi’s Warbler has completely left our wetlands. In the Campo de Calatrava White Storks has started to concentrate in large flocks (over two thousand) and the Black Kites are found in less numbers everyday. I have seen only one swift over my patio (and two Griffon Vultures), but flocks of Bee-Eaters are still found in Daimiel, like the last Rollers. The beautiful song of the Golden Oriole has completely disappear from our forests, but still there are birds that continue with us, like our Short-Toeds and the Black Storks (three babies this year in the Fresneda River), perhaps some of them will remain this winter in La Mancha. Weather is changing now (only 30-32º Centigrade at midday), but like Tolkien’s heroes Frodo and Bilbo felt in the past, we too are feeling now the autumn come, and our feets are claiming to walk. By the moment for the next week-end we are going to hike the summit of Sierra Morena... Bonelli’s, Imperial and Black Vultures are waiting us.
This is my last list for one birding day in La Mancha:
