Am thinking of buying a Swarovski 65HD Angled and have seen a thread that the head i have a 701RC2 will not fit the scope ?

But a MN128RC will fit ?

Please Advise

I believe that both heads take the same quick-release plate so if you screw the plate on to the foot of the scope you shouldn't have any problem. The foot of the Swaro scope will slot directly into the 128 head without a QR plate, but I suspect that will not be the case for the 701 head as this head takes the QR plate lengthways instead of widthways.

The advantage of using the 128 head is that with a Swarovski scope the foot fits straight into the head itself - no plate is needed. I find this by far the firmest connection you can get.

With the 701 you need to use a plate with the scope.

Of course you can use a plate with the 128 as well.
