Evening members,I've just bought a second hand canon 1DMK11N from a photographic shop in Leeds, the camera is in great condition and I am trying to get my head around the settings etc.(a differant animal from my old 40D).Whilst I get 3 months "warrenty"with the camera it would be nice to talk or corrispond with the previous owner a Mr Darren Blackman.I know this might be a long shot but if any body knows or is Darren would you pass on my e-mail address.

Hi John, just been on the web-site and somehow don'nt think this is the man,but thanks for the link. regards Brian

Hi Marcus, the camera was in great condition, came with everything except the software,so was wanting to get in touch with the previous owner to see if he still had it .It had 50,000 actuations (rung canon up for a bit of info and they said that was nothing on a 1D),got 400 for my 40D and paid 595 cash. What does that compare like to what you paid ?? Brian

Yeah pretty close. £850 with a couple of spare batteries, but out of warranty. 40000 actuations. We should expect 200000 from these boys.

I stepped up from the 30D (which I still have) and must say I think itis awesome. The focus is so fast it goes like a dream at the moment.

Hi Marcus, that was'nt a bad price, still putting mine through it's paces yet, trying to get out as often as I can but work gets in the way.Do you put a big lens on it ?,I've got a 500 and it must be one of the best combo's going for wildlife photography. Can't make my mind up about the fast focus as yet but will have to get out and do some flight shots, but overall am well chuffed with it,can't really keep blaming the gear it's just more practice thats required. Brian
