Hello,

Fairly new to birdwatching and as I am working near the RSPB Cwm Clydach
reserve was hoping to get down there for an evening this week. Wandered
if anyone had any tips on where the best spots were - went there once
earlier in the year and it was pretty quiet.

Really want to see a pied flycatcher - saw some some spotted flycathers
last week for first time on Brecon canal and have never sene a pied one and
info on reserve says might be in with a shout.

Any tips greatly appreciated, also never seena redstart or siskin which are
another two possibles, would also love to see an owl !

By the way would recommend the Brecon canal had a great week.

Many thanks

Lawrence

Thanks for link - also yet to see a lesser spotted woodpecker so good that they are a possibility as well, looking forward to it.
