Durn good lists. How long have you been keeping yours for, Michael?

Of course, flyovers are uncountable unless they pass within the vertical column of infinite height defined by the ground dimensions of your property.

I keep an In-the-Yard List List (18 species) and a From-the-Yard List (a further 13 species). Since August 1998.

Three there that I've got (Rock Dove, Starling, House Sparrow)

BTW, Rock Dove & Rock Pigeon are the same thing ;)

Sorry, I meant Mourning Dove. I went in and fixed it. Thanks.

Hey Charles,

The Ring-billed gull was a flyover. I live about a half mile from Lake Erie. I've been keeping a list for about 3 years, when I got hooked on all this durn stuff. My life list is only 9 away from 200. Maybe this year!!!

Mike

Damn nice list Michael. You most have a big backyard? I live in a city where the lots are right next to each other. I also live about 30 feet from the railroad.

Even different genera, according to my books, Darren.
Hmmm, well an old chap I knew in Suffolk always referred to Tawny as Screech. I'll have to go visit the old bugger and put him right then, he's never ventured further than Ipswich in his life!
