Non-UK members - the Radio Times is a TV listings magazine, ostensibly biased towards the BBC.

In this week's issue, next to a 'puff' for Bill Oddie's latest series, is a picture confidently labelled as a House Sparrow. However, to me, it looks far more like a White-throated Sparrow. I can't tell you which page it's on, as they appear to have lost the box of page numbers. Can anyone confirm ?

Where can I see this picture? I'd know right away whether it's a white-throated, because I get them in our yard quite often in the winter.....

Jennifer,
Welcome to the forum - thanks for your interest, but this query was answered on another thread - and I was right !!

OK, then - nevermind! : )

Thanks for the welcome, Tony! I'm terribly curious, though - or is it nosy - & would like to see that photo.....

I just went to the Radio Times site, & apparently the new issue is out, so guess I'm out of luck on that..... Oh, well!
