Flower for ID Please (1 Viewer)

Hi All, can anyone identify the flower in the attached shot, please?

It was photographed this morning on a south-facing grassy embankment.

Although the bank is man-made this part has been in existence for several years and is covered in grasses and wild flowers with few, if any, 'introduced' flowers.

Thanks

Adey

I agree, probably O. articulata. It doesn't move around much after initial establishment and may indicate where an old garden? used to be. It is normally found on waste ground where former houses (gardens) used to be.

Thanks, Alan and Steve,

The leaves certainly have that 'oxalis' feel to them - I'm not sure what was there before the bank was built up but it will be interesting to see if it spreads far from these plants
