Hi all,

in the end of September (22-29.09) I will be in Bergen. I want to see the city but also plan to go somewhere for birdwatching. I will be very gratefull for any tips - I will not have own transport, so the most wanted places are the ones with an access by public transport.

Best greetings
Antoni

I have the chance of a few hours in or around Bergen over the next few days...anywhere you'd recommend within the city?

There are some places available by public transport.
Herdla on Askøy is almost always worth a visit - and is possbile by bus from Bergen, otherwise Sotra and Øygarden are a good bet- also possible to do by Bus from the city centre.

And yes, there are PLENTY of WT Eagles this far south. I see several every single day.....

More info here

Any specific questions PM me as I am more often in the field than on the forum....
