My wife and I are going to San Luis Pass today, a combo fishing and photo trip.

I will be taking the net book, but don't know if the aircard will get signal down there. I will update on bird activity either from the beach, or when we get home this evening.

We ended up going north instead of south. We went to Mercer Aboretum and Botanic Garden off of FM 1960. A wonderful place. We saw very few birds there, Mourning Dove, Northern Mocking Bird, some sparrows and a Humming Bird. The last reminded me I have to buy sugar and fill the Hummer Feeders.

Maybe next week we will make it down to Galveston or Surfside.
