Hello Everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me, l purchased a concrete birdbath a couple of years ago and unfortunatly the bad frosts got to it last winter and cracked it, so l purchased a new top a couple of months ago and all ready the surface has started to rub off, does anyone know of a sealent that will both protect the concrete and is not harmfull to the birds.
Many thanks

Hi 4wildlife and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators.

I've moved your post to the Gardening for Birds forum, as I think you're more likely to get the advice you need in there.

How about putting a large ceramic plant pot saucer in it instead- easier to refill every day and keep clean. Less than £1 from any DIY type store.

You could try some concrete sealant for ponds, which is safe for fish /frogs when dry. Available from any pond shop.
