Waxwings, at last! (1 Viewer)

After several fruitless years eagerly waiting to see some waxwings, this year I've been watching the posts and going out specifically to try to find some. No luck! But then this morning as I was having my coffee, I counted 7 in the tree behind our house! When I realised they were going to be there for a while I rushed upstairs to get the scope, excellent views of them preening. They even stayed long enough for me to get my camera set up and took a few photos & vids.
Very happy with results given they were a good 40-50m away, and happier now I'm getting somewhere with my recently purchased newer digiscoping camera (P6000).
