A walk around Marbury CP (1 Viewer)

Had a walk around marbury today ,tried to see a lesser spotted woodpecker again with no luck ,but had a great day after the early rain pleny of grebes head shaking and lots of longtailed tits on the feeders 1 nuthatch a few coal tits and 1 reed bunting A kingfisher had been showing to the right of the hide just before we arrived Saw a couple of jays from the next hide and 2 shell ducks and 4 shovlers and a host of wigeon on the mere The small mere up the wooden steps< cant remeber its name> held plenty of teal and wigeon and newmans flash had quite a few common gulls We walked back to the mere and were sprized to see 50 plus curlew on the far bank also spotted a sparrow hawk hiding in a tree behind the toilet block
