Looks like a great place, this does!! I'm a stay at home mom of 2 boys....and I like to watch the birds at my feeders. I don't get any strange or exotic birds, but I find watching them calming. I live in Nova Scotia. I've got a few questions for birders closer to my area so if someone could direct me to this spot for Canadians that would be great!

Hi momofboys,

Don't forget that almost ALL of your birds will be strange and exotic to us this side of the Pond.

I'm no expert, but I would love to here about your garden friends.

Welcome, monofboys. I'm one of those too and have been lucky enough to stay at home for the last 10 years. Actually, I usually "stay" in my backyard with my bird friends. I'm in Atlanta, Ga. and have wonderful next door neighbors from Canada. Spent a few days in Tronto a few years ago and just loved it.
