October in Cornwall (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone,

I am coming down to Cornwall for a long weekend in October.

Dont know any of the sites down there but will be staying in Mousetrap nr Penzance.

I will be with non birders who will be interested in having some nice walks and relying on me showing them some interesting stuff down there.

I wondered if anyone could give me a heads up on some decent reserves/ spots down there at that time and roughly what I might expect to see at them?

Also, what is the area like for owls? I read that SEO do appear at some of the reserves, and I wondered how common Barn Owls are in the county now (and how likely I am to see them?!

If any one has any useful info, please do let me know. I would be very grateful. If you would prefer, then please pm me.

Thanks all,

Mike
