Thanks Cheshire Birder!

The peninsula, and especially the Aberdaron area on the mainland opposite Bardsey has had some tremendous birds but does not get a fraction of the coverage of the island.

Certainly bursting at the seams with potential...

Good Birding

Hi Andrew. this posting has come at a brilliant time for me as i coming to Porthmadog for a week from the 17th so I will be using your knowledge of the area to give me some good ticks. I have bookmarked your blog as well so i am looking forward to a good week. I'm useless on waders so this will be excellent for me and i'm certain of a few lifers. from what i have researched so far it looks a great area

Hi Bill

Hope you have a good week. Porthmadog is a great area. There's also a Facebook page for discussing the area's widlife. it's called 'Glaslyn Nature' and is regularly updated.

Good Birding

Andrew
