My peregrines - part 2 (1 Viewer)

gmax

Sontium Dweller
The youngs tried to snatch it away from the parent's talons, diving against it from above or flying like a rocket below and suddenly turning upwards [picture 6].
When one of them succeeded, the other one immediately tried to rob its brother of its prey [picture 5].
While the youngs were practicing, one adult always watched from above, slowly circling around. [picture 7].

Spring has passed by - the youngs have grown up and started a life on their own. Last time I spotted one of them, it was perched high on the cliff, amidst the sea and the sky, quietly observing the world around. [picture 8]

I left it there, wishing good luck.

Great pictures! I especially like the family group at the end of the first post (reminds me very much of a family I've seen this year and last in early summer on a sheer rock face in the north Apennines).
