Hi all,

can anybody give information on Birding on Lolland, Denmark in Winter? I ´ll perhaps be there in December or January.

Do I have any chance to see Stellers Eider or King Eider there?

Many thanks,

Jörn

Hi Joern,

I don't know anthing about Lolland in winter - I've only birded there in July/August when the area can be good for waders. However this site may be helpful : http://biobase.dk/~david-c/index.htm, and I have forwarded your query to its owner. If you are spending any time in Denmark then I would recommend www.netfugl.dk. Helpfully, much of the site is available in English, but more information is available if you can read Danish.

I suspect your chances of seeing King or Stellers Eider are not good, but you will find more info on Netfugl.dk

Cheers,

Stuart
