Dragonfly Atlas Update 2011

Thanks to those you have submitted records for 2011 and a request for recorders to submit records for the season to help coverage of the distribution of the damselflies and dragonflies in Suffolk.

Next year will be the final year of the atlas and we would welcome recorders to send in all records along with helping to cover areas that are under-recorded. A coverage map will be added to the web sites below in the new year to show areas that need more visits to make a complete a picture of the county's odonata as possible.

Further details can be found about the Suffolk Local Dragonfly Group -
http://www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org/species-and-habitats/the-suffolk-local-dragonfly-group/ and on the SOG web site here -

Please send records to Adrian Parr
County Dragonfly Recorder
email: adrian.parr 'at' btinternet.com

Provisional Dragonly Atlas 2008-2011 now added to SOG web site - Dragonfly Atlas.

Please send all records from this year, the final one for the Atlas, and any records from previous years to the county recorder.
