Hi
Does anyone know the earliest that Red-tailed (Kurdish) Wheatear (Oenanthe xanthoprymna) could be reasonably expected at this site please?

Thanks.

Unlikely before early May or at least late April, though not many people look before May, so to some extent our data could be obfuscated by an observational lacuna. The earliest Turkish records are dated 20 March and 12 April.

Thanks Guy, that's really useful.

Thinking about a visit late April so may be possible. If the trip goes ahead I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks again,
