our annual BioBlitz will be held on the 6th & 7nth of July this year, as last.

All events, talks and things are free (as they should be!) & drop in as well as loads of ad-hoc stuff as and when opportunity presents itself.

so plan so far is 6th (nocturnal surveys)
- Moth trapping demo & talk on some species your likely to come across (macros & micros) at 8:00pm at Binn Green.
- Lancs Bat Group doing a talk at the sailing club followed by a walk to see what we can add to our lists.

there will also be small Mammal trapping at various areas across the site.

the 7th will be as usual, ad-hov recording from pro's to school children.
with specialist around for your questions and ID tips.

last year we got just under 400 species. not bad, but with obvious gaps in records. Don't see why we can't hit 500 this year!

Cheers all,
J
