Good place to buy Pentax Papilio? (1 Viewer)

I'm thinking about picking up a pair of these for the kids to use partly when birding but also they love looking at insect too so these seem ideal. However since I last looked at a pair they sem o have gone up in price so I am now looking for a decent deal on a pair. So if anyone seems any going for a good price please point me in the right direction.

There seem to be a few places selling them for about £89. I don't remember seeing them for less than about £80 in the UK in the last couple of years.

yeah they might well be the best option - I'd be happy enough to find a good deal in the US as I have family over there who could get them for me.

Pentax has a binocular rebate ($20-100 at least US) lasting from 8/1 to 10/1,
so I just ordered a pair of 8.5 papilios to compliment my 6.5x21s

8.5x21 arrived today-quality and build the same,
(I agree with all the positive press)

the 8.5s are a little dimmer with a smaller FOV
they are well worth $136 US minus $20 rebate

I will keep the 6.5s by my door for closer backyard/feeder viewing,
the 8.5s in my truck for more distant views of whatever catches my interest
