My friend send me pictures of a bird that's been hanging out in her backyard can someone please Tell me what type of bird it is and the age? Thank you

Possibly a Cooper's Hawk fledgling, at least 4 weeks, no more than 8 weeks old. Should be adult(s) close by that are continuing to care for it. Audubon piece on young birds, including >Cooper's hawk<
