Hi all
Just want to share something from a birding trip in late Mar,when we met the driest dry season in Thailand in 50 years.
But it was still an interesting trip.We at first planned to try the argus in a hide near Sri Phangnga but the guide told us a bear visited there often and the argus was scared so he suggested us moving south to KhaoSok to try another hide.
And we did it,climbing for more than one hour to reach the hide before sunrise. At 5am we could already hear the male calling. After 6am,they started to call more frequently, waiting for females to come and have a look at their dancing.
