Hello togther,

is there any recommaded accomodation on Cape Clear island fro 2 - 3 weeks ?
Is it better to stay on Cape Clear or travel from Baltimore.
Maybe the risk is from Baltimore, in case of windy condtions, which happened very often in Ireland, the ferry do not go ?

Thank You very much.

Best regards
Dieter

Not current, but the CC Bird Observatory used to offer very inexpensive accommodations. Perhaps it still does.
There are several other places on the island, so I think you would be much better served staying there rather than relying on a daily ferry round trip.
There is a CC pub with decent grub, so you won't miss Baltimore.

I would agree with previous replies that staying on Cape is the better option.

One thing to note that the shopping is very limited on the island (and not cheap). There are several supermarkets in Skibbereen that would be worth visiting beforehand to stock up on essentials. I think it is also possible to order from the mainland when you are on the island.
