Yep,

in fact I've just checked: apparently every country has a "north east", not just The USA.

Who'd have thought, eh?

Yeh but i thought VT was Vane Tempest* - the other half reckons it might be Vermont. - Bless the women;-)

* for the benefit of anyone outside the Durham Coalfield or indeed the northern England coalmining area (former) Vane Tempest was a well known local colliery.

We have had DC Cormorants and various blackbirds moving through. I had a pine warbler last weekend. Someone else had a few tree swallows. Birds are on the move, but they are just a trickle right now.

I will add that I have seen multiple pine warblers over the past week, and there have been snipe passing through (seen by others, not by me).
