Southern African Bird Sounds (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Does anyone know if there are any websites containing mp3 files of southern african birds? There are 2 that I'm specifically interested in (Cinnamon-breasted Warbler and Red Lark). I know that the Guy Gibbons set includes the warbler but not the lark.

Alternatively if anyone has any of their own recordings of these species that they would be prepared to email me that would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Richard

EDIT: Richard I just saw that you observed that the above does not include the Lark. Just which Lark exactly are you wanting? I translate Red Lark as Certhilauda burra, and if this is correct then accordiing to Wild Sounds it is on the disc.

Steve,
Thanks for your response. You're quite right, it is on there, I'd just searched on English name, and it's referred to as Ferruginous Lark.

As I was primarily interested in just those two species, I was trying to avoid shelling out for the full set, but given the fact that I haven't exactly been inundated with responses, I guess I might have to bite the bullet!

cheers,
Richard

Hi Richard,

A possibility just occurred to me. Try floating an RFI though this site: http://www.sahotspots.co.za/forum/

You might just luck out and find somebody possessing single audiofiles.
