Hi Tristan, aparently there are 29 species of grasshopper , cricket and groundhoppers, the closest to your photograph is Omacestus viridulus, or common green grasshopper, which in my book shows itself to be very brown (if you ask me) but the huge green bush cricket is what most people call a green grasshopper.

Common Field Grasshopper (Chorthippus brunneus) Readily identified by the Chesnut & black pronotum (bit behind the head)
