this reserve is situated halfway between merthyr tydfil and brecon on the A470.about two miles past the storey arms outdoor pursuits centre pull into the large layby on the left.you are now at the reserve.it is not a very big reserve but is in a beautiful setting.birds seen here include,peregrine,merlin,buzzard,red kite,whinchat,wheater,red grouse,skylark.but the speciality must be the pairs of ring ousels that are present throughout the summer.
