Krakow in September? (1 Viewer)

The wife fancies a long weekend in Krakow mid September and I'm tentatively agreeing, depending on what the birdings like - otherwise I'd prefer to head over to SW Spain for raptor migration.

Can anyone advise whether theres any birding within the city itself (parks, etc) to fill a a few hours of an early morning?

Also, is there an easily accessible areas that can be done as a day trip from Krakow using public transport and/or local taxis and what can I expect in Mid September? Should it be preferable I'll hire a car for the day instead.

Any info greatly appreciated.
