Barden Scale Raptor Site (1 Viewer)

Hello Richard

It is just off the B6160 between Barden Tower and Bolton Abbey. About 1/2m south from Barden Tower on the B6160 heading towards Bolton Abbey, turn right towards Embsay and Eastby. A couple of hundred yds from the turn there is a small parking area on the right.

Steven

There's normally a group of old boys there at weekends, who can regale the history of all the birds through the area for some years.

The moor adjacent to the watchpoint produced stonechat and red grouse on the last Yorkshire meet.
