Golden Plovers and Cumbrian Windfarms (1 Viewer)

Hi.
I'm an Ecologist based in Scotland and am hoping to start an MRes, based on Golden plover interactions with operational wind farms. There is quite a large knowledge gap in regards to GP behavior, especially at night and we are hoping to fill that gap with novel techniques such as infra-red, radar and digital video recording alongside standard flight line recording. I'm aware of several wind farms along the Cumbrian coastline, however accessing relevant data from their multiple Environmental Impact Assessments can be slow and time consuming. I'm looking for any records of wintering golden plover that might roost or feed within, or close to a wind farm. These records might be of mainly spring or autumn passage, or of regular local wintering flocks. Any records of bird strikes or sightings of unusual GP behavior near an operational wind farm would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
