Some promising words from the minister responsible here. Time for action though.
The figures from the new RSPB report make depressing reading. The following were known to have been poisoned or shot in 2006 in Scotland:
40 Buzzards
8 Ravens
5 Red Kites
2 Golden eagles
2 Carrion crows
1 Peregrine
1 Tawny owl
1 Common gull
1 Sheepdog
