Troublesome Birds - Costa Rica (1 Viewer)

The only Woodnymph on the country list is Violet-crowned Woodnymph Thalurania colombica. However, there are five motmots, which makes it everybodies guess which is meant (Blue-crowned is probably the most widespread species, I have seen it in Mexico and Trinidad&Tobago).

I found a website for the Braulio Carrillo National Park, which incorporates the Quebrada Gonzalez Ranger Station and there are 3 motmots listed: Blue-crowned, Rufous and Broad-billed. Here's the link if you'd like to see the rest of the bird list.
