Prologue to Strathbeg (1 Viewer)

Tomorrow I am venturing to Loch of Strathbeg for a wildlife spotting day. I'm hoping to see some Osprey, Peregrines, White-Tailed Eagles, Marsh Harrier, Pink-footed Geese, Little Egrets, Knot and Waders. I'm also hoping to see some Owls when I'm driving back home. This day will be given an extra boost thanks to my new Panasonic FZ28 camera! I've already taken a number of wildlife pictures at home but I'm hoping for plenty of opportunities at Strathbeg. I might also stop somewhere else on the way back from Strathbeg, any suggestions?

Hi Calvin, I was up at Strathbeg today, the following were present, and maybe there tomorrow. Good luck!

1 Little Egret, 14 Pink-Footed Geese (amongst them was an escaped Barnacle Goose, so if you are thinking of 'ticking' that as such, it isn't a wild bird ;) ), 1 Peregrine, 3 Marsh Harrier, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 1 Snipe, 7 Greenshank, 1 brief Osprey, and over 400 Lapwing.
