We are part of the family of Nature we live for awhile and we die
And of the supposed life hereafter ask one more enlightened than I
Yet the ways of Nature are changing with some help from us one must say
The Polar ice caps slowly melting and sea levels rising each day.

With only a short hunting Season and the sea ice melting too fast
The mighty white bear of the Arctic may soon be a creature of the past
Not the only species facing extinction many wild creatures becoming rare
We've got far too many developers and human polluters and too few of the environmentally aware.

Climate change is happening all around us but the Goddess of Nature lives on
Of a better life for the children of the future due to us the chance may be gone
For to slow down the effects of climate change a change that affects everyone
We could become the instigators of our own extinction when all is said and all is done.

We are part of the family of Nature at least that's how it does seem to be
And we could become the instigators of our own extinction at least that's how it seems to me
But Nature will live on forever the only immortal of which I do know
She will even outlive climate change and my wonder of her only does grow.
