Another good bird day. (1 Viewer)

Drove my lovely girlfriend Kate into Preston for an hour long appointment this morning and I took the opportunity to wander around Winckley Square and got some lovely photos of a Jay and an okay Chiffchaff photo. Then we went to Brockholes and amongst other things (tits, heron, housemartins ...) I saw my first pair of Goosanders. This has been the first year since I was young that I have started looking at the birdies again and there have been a lot of firsts. After Brockholes I went for a walk at Stannah, my local as it were, and after seeing a lovely Teal (nothing special but not seen one there before) I was lucky enough to see my first Wheatear. In fact there was 4 or 5 of them.
Sadly I have to go back to work on Monday.
