What ever have I gotten myself into? (1 Viewer)

Well, to paraphrase an old "Laurel & Hardy" quote.......

Well here's another fine mess I've gotten into!

To elaborate and "try" to explain myself, let me start by saying birding is a fine thing I've gotten into. A "mess"? Not in the usual sense, you might think of when that word is used, but a "mess", as in a lot, of things to learn.

I've stuck my fingers into several different paths over the years. Not far enough for any of them to be called truly a "hobby" per se. Most of them I'm involved in varying degrees.

But birding just might be the one that accomplishes that "hobby" status. I say that because it's something I can do a small amount or a larger amount depending on the time I have and where I am. I'm already finding myself "listening" for clear, distinctive bird calls and watching the skies as I'm out and about. There are so many ways to go with this.

With the gracious assistance, it seems everyone is so quick to give, I am looking forward to this journey.

Later folks......I hear a bird outside! I wonder what it is??
