Wildlife For Healthcare

Ive often wondered at the benefits of wildlife, nature and health. I think that for most of us at some point in our lives we will go through a period where we are suffering from stress, anxiety or other stress related ilnesses.
From my own personal experience medication does not heal the issues it only takes away some of the side effects and can create a resilience to the medication.
Recently when I have needed some time out I have taken myself to a local field where Swallows and House Martins are found feeding.
I found this experience exhilirating sitting on the grass with these supreme avaitors swerving, banking and twisting just over my head, so close I could feel the air moving. This experience gave me a mix of emotions overall feeling grounded, peaceful ,calm and generally happy with the world, and more importantly appreciating it and my place in it.
As I came away I thought to myself if I could bottle this feeling up wouldn't life be just great.
And why don't the NHS prescribe this summer treatment as a compliment or alternative to medication.
This is my Spring/Summer therapy and I wanted to share it with fellow forum members.
