Like someone off the Vicar of Dibley the owner of Photo-tech has now decided not to knock his web site on the head - as detailed in my previous posts. Not only that but he's totally redesigned the site and has focused on (excuse pun) wildlife photography.
I have to admit much of the work is very good and worth a visit.
Sorry for the on/off nature of the posts but, such is the artistic temperament.

Photo-tech no more!

Posted Monday 3rd March 2008 at 09:31 by SalopPhil
Seems my blog post, a few weeks ago, was the 'kiss of death' for the web site photo-tech.co.uk as the owner has decided to knock it on the head.
He'd always intended to run the site as a means to provide his photos to anyone who wanted them, and being as he was such a good wildlife photographer it seemed he'd get a decent level of support. Sadly this was not the case, so it has to go.
The good thing is he's going to spread his work around a number of gallery sites so it will still...

New(ish) web site for wildlife pictures

Posted Wednesday 30th January 2008 at 15:22 by SalopPhil
A revamped web site has been launched by a friend of mine. He lives on the Caledonian canal (literally) and specialises in photographing wildlife and landscapes.
There are some really cracking shots in this site so you might want to have a look at.

Who's watching who?

I know they are inquisitive little guys but this one seemed particularly interested in my taking pictures of him.
I suppose it's only right.

Blackcap

Posted Thursday 24th January 2008 at 12:02 by SalopPhil
At long last the sun came out and made an attempt to dry out the mud that we laughingly call a garden.
Managed to grab a few shots of a pair of Blackcaps that visited but sadly the male Bullfinch only got to the next field before making off. Shame as he looked great in the winter sunshine.

You'll have to make do with this image instead.
