Purple Heron visit (1 Viewer)

Just after waking up this morning, hubby told me that there’s a big bird on the football field.
For hubby that can be anything from a crow to a heron.
In this case it was a Purple Heron.

I just managed to get up, get my cam, switch the lens to the 200mm and put in a new battery and take one crappy shot (and a few more real crappy ones in flight), before that Beauty spotted me on the balcony and took off.

Stay safe your majesty.

These two shots are from last Friday on the golf course.
I went on Wednesday to see them, since Pip told me they were there.
I didn’t find them (Wednesday wasn’t my day to begin with).

Friday I went to take pics from the Tournament and right before the first Tee-offs, there he was.
It sure as heck made my day!
