I Only Do Write Of

Posted Monday 7th March 2011 at 23:39 by Francis Duggan
Of my worth as a rhymer i have reason to doubt
And few interested enough in to read any of the things i have written about
Such as the pink spots on the skin of the wildborn brown trout
On the bed of the clear river pool when the sun is out
Or the beautiful song the gray butcherbird sing
In the World of Birds quite a distinctive thing
Or the homeless one who daydreams of becoming a billionaire
It goes without saying that his type are not rare

Nature's Gift Of Rain

Posted Sunday 17th April 2011 at 03:59 by Francis Duggan
A few months ago the paddocks were bare and brown
In the flat countryside bordering Castlemaine Town
That was before the onset of the heavy rain
That overflowed every creek and every drain
And in the once bare paddocks young grass sprouted again
And Nature's greenery returned to Castlemaine
The last time i was here the landscape looked bare and brown
In and surrounding old Castlemaine Town
Amazing changes that a few months can bring

Well...I know I said in my last posting that my repurchase of a scope was coming down to the Vortex Razor....and I believe that to be an excellent scope after looking at the 09 reviews of higher end scopes. That clearly shows it is.

But, I had a call from a store in Montana that had a demo Swaro 80 HS ATM plus a eyepiece for a real good price and couldn't pass it up. ... I like the Swaro Helical focus wheel...jto me that helps as I have a little bit of arthritis in my right thumb...
