Hi everyone,
Second day of my new routine. Today saw a much longer journey, around 15km rode in total maybe even more. Used my bicycle and had binoculars and some food with me. Still no bird book though.
I have decided to set a target of 20 birds minimum before I have to go home for when I am on the bike and for when I am doing my morning run/walk 15 birds.
Todays total was 22 birds.
1. Carrion Crow
2. Wood Pigeon
3. Blackbird
4. Grey Heron
5. Mallard
6. Coot
7. Moorhen
8. Canada Goose
9. Egyption Goose
10. Great Crested Grebe
11. Mute Swan
12. Rose-ringed Parakeet
13. Blue tit
14. Great tit
15. Coal tit
16. Common Blackcap
17. Robin
18. White Wagtail
19. Starling
20. Great Spotted Woodpecker
21. Chaffinch
22. Swallow
The area today involved 3 seperate lakes. I can already tell that I'm starting to see (and from previous trips before I started officially documenting what I saw) birds that I shall expect to see on the daily visit.
Tomorrow is a run day so its a 15 bird day challenge... no Binoculars or bird book either.
