Winter Migrants Arrive (1 Viewer)

High winds and high waves meant taking a client to see the King Eider at Burhead was a non-starter, so a day of genral birding in the Moray area was carried out. Some nice wader flocks at Burghead, including Bar tailed Godwit and Knot.

A nearby Loch was fairly quiet apart from two Whooper swans ad a female Scaup, also at this location was the first Fieldfare of the season, a nice relaxed productive morning for both me and the customer!
