Ospreys at Hanningfield Reservoir (1 Viewer)

After a heavy night out celebrating my daughter's birthday, it was prudent to have a lay in this morning. Making some tea about 1030 I noted on Birdguides that an Osprey had been seen at Hanningfield for the second day running!!

Anyway I was on site at 1115 but the reserve staff didn't know anything about it. The plan was to check each hide to see if anyone knew about an Osprey. Opening the door to the first hide, anyone know anything about an Osprey? Yeah, we're on it now!!!

Magnificent views of the bird, the best I've ever had. Someone said the bird's drifting off to the left, I said, no, it's going right. Boing, there are two Ospreys in the air! A great morning and the Essex list rises to 176. |:D|
