Birdwatching Holiday with my RSPB Group to the Isle of Wight in June of this year

I'm really looking forward to my RSPB Local Groups 7 day holiday in June of this year to the Isle of Wight. We will be visiting a number of bird reserves including reserves owned by the RSPB and National Trust and also some smaller bird reserves as well on that Island. The previous two years my RSPB Group has had a weeks annual holiday to the Orkneys in 2014 and North Wales in 2015. As well as the annual holiday my RSPB Group has monthly birdwatching day trips by coach to various good birdwatching...

Practically no RSPB reserves in North East England

The problem I have is that there has always been a lack of RSPB reserves in North East England and until Saltholm in Cleveland was opened a few years ago, there was only Coquet Island where no one is allowed to land which is in Northumberland. I do support the RSPB as I'm a Life Fellow and I do belong to an RSPB Local Members Group. But I often have to go to bird reserves belonging to other orgenisations such as one up at Druridge Bay which is a very good reserve or the Farne Islands of the Northumberland...
