Nature's Wild Birds Are Chirping (1 Viewer)

Nature's wild birds are chirping on sunlit bushes and trees
On what is a warm enough day of twenty nine degrees
In marvellous weather for flying insects the buzzing of flies and bees
And there is a certain freshness in the freshening Summer breeze
That blow in from the ocean through the busy coastal town
Where cars and trucks and buses are buzzing up and down
The familiar call of the magpie lark the bird known to some as pee wee
Is echoing in the sunshine of the parkland by the sea
An artist could sketch such beauty a poet of it could write
A poem for Nature lovers for to read and to recite,
A thing of Nature's beauty a lovely white butterfly
Is flying in the sunshine through the bright Summer sky
The new holland honeyeater's chirping of his presence leaves no doubt
So much beauty in Nature for to love and write about
