Hello,
first and important: welcome to birdforum!
I hope, this doesnt come out as an offence to a new member, but its surely a good idea to post this in the ID forum?

I cant identify your bird with confidence, but do you have more pictures?
The smal rear wader seems to have yellow legs? But I am not on a god device now.
At first, it gave a strange impression to me, with a plumage more similar to a Temincks Stint and the compact shape of a Little Stint.
As said, more images could well make confident assesment possible (at least for others)

Welcome to birdforum again!

Hi and thanks for replying! No offence taken thanks for the reply!
I thought / hoped I had posted to the ID forum but have probably done it wrong...
I have since had confirmation from another birder who went to the same spot that there were indeed 5 Little stint present as well as a curlew sand. Although I didn't spot the Curlew Sand I'm now 100% sure these were the stint. I will be investing in a camera at some point so no more blurry unidentifyable pics soon!

Thanks again for the help :)

Hello again,

when you post this in the ID forum, can you ad more pictures please?
The left bird in the front might well be a worn 1cy Curlew Sandpiper. Yes, this is whishful thinking at its best, but it seems to have
  • paler, sandy upperparts than the Dunlins with a greyish wash
  • it seems a very slightly larger bird than the Dunlins with longer legs
  • what sems a dark shadow on the lower belly, could well be an artefact or a shadow (and I am not on the best device to judge this)
Yes, this is impossible to judge with confidence in a single picture, but maybe more pictures could change this?

And you will see that there are many others with more comments, ehen xou post this in the ID forum. ythanks from me, too!
